A pressure group withing the Ondo state Apc, The Progressive women forum has called for the party members to allow peace to reign within the rank and file of the party in Ondo state if they are serious about their desire to win the November 26th guber poll.
The chair person of the forum, Hon.Yetunde Adeyanju in a press release advised that the aspirants who contested the party’s primaries should come together to support the acclaimed winner of the primaries, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu.
She said bickering among the aspirants will no doubt have a backlash on the party, stressing that party stakeholders should dis countenance the opinion of fifth columnists who apparently do not mean well for Ondo state Apc.
In a related development, the Appeal panel constituted to sit on the petitions emanating from the conduct of the APC primaries has completed their sitting in Abuja and are set to submit their decision to the National Party Executive.
While the decision of the appeal is awaited, the publicity Secretary of the party in Ondo state, Omo’ba Abayomi Adesanya had said the party primaries held in Ondo state had been free and fair.
The major petitioners to the Appeal panel are Chief Segun Abraham, Chief Olusola Oke and Senator Ajayi Borrofice.
