Shundale Taylor, 24, was booked early Wednesday on a murder charge in the shooting death of 23-year-old Antoine Hodge, police said.
Officers were called about 7:30 p.m. to the Colonia Tepeyac apartments in the 5800 block of Bernal

Drive. In the common area, they found Hodge critically wounded. He was taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say Hodge and his associates went to the apartment complex to confront Taylor’s girlfriend

over a long-running feud, according to police documents. A fight broke out between two groups, with Hodge on one side and Taylor on the other.
During the fight, Taylor pulled a .32-caliber revolver out of her shorts and fired twice, hitting Hodge in the chest, police said. She fled in a vehicle, throwing the gun in a purple Crown Royal whiskey bag  in the back seat.

Taylor later surrendered to police at Bonnie View and Simpson Stuart roads in southeast Oak Cliff. She admitted being involved in the fight and firing the handgun.
She was booked into the Dallas County Jail about 6:15 a.m., with bail set at $500,000.
